Esperanza

Esperanza

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya

 Esperanza

My hair is ruffled, yet the wind won’t blow.
heavy are the clouds above me
while the sky refuse's to cry
I know I must expand my horizon
For the storm that lays ahead
Because  even the world must shed a tear
For the sun to shine once again

Short and to the point. I enjoyed every line and it lets me know that it is okay to cry that it is sometimes necessary. Congrats on winning 3rd place in the pick me up contest.

Another great poem there is so much to say here even if the poem is short. Really powerful and beautiful poem. It gives me Esperanza right now because I need it gracias por compartir este bello poema.

Your poem says a lot about life too. sometimes we have to experience a few pit falls to enjoy the good times. I enjoyed the imagery in this poem and the high emotions too. Great job.

Believe it or not, your poem expresses so exactly my feeling when writing my last book. Indeed, one needs to always stretch the dimension of one’s vision in order to see this very strange phenomenon called hope! Great! You expressed it in a few words.

This is certainly how I feel during summer, as well as when I am anxiously awaiting a blessing. Short and sweet!

Nice work Mauricio...truth is within the actuality of thought...for when one has shed tears and seen the sunset they are sure to see the sunrise...

nice...
