Every now and then , people keeps talking about getting rich, having this and that , i use to wonder is money truly everything to man

Is money everything to human ?
Even when they are on sick bed
All they think of is their bank account
What happens to the money after their demise ?

Do we really have to kill for the love of money
Fathers against Sons
Children against Parent
Brothers against sisters

Ready to murder each other for money sake
What happens to true love ?
When all what people care for
is money

Corruption in every nation
Bribery and Nepotism
All for money sake
I wish i could say more

I just wish to know is money everything to human ?

Ha, money the greatest evil of humanity... Started with exchanging things in the early age now turned into soft papers that buys everything, even a human life... Behind every destruction money plays role, terrorists are attacking because of money, people are dying without any food because they don't have money, brother kills his own brother because he wants all the money... True love has lost its value, it has become hollow... Show your money people will love you, and if you don't have money people will ignore you, that's how it goes... A great question on humanity....

The way I see about wealth and money is that money is not only status but more like to preserve ones way of living. We greed or dream about money just to upgrade the standard of living. It can be earned in a form of good deeds or a bad one. Good write through. Job well done

adly yes..money is most peoples god that they worship avidly. i have always said money is the root of all evil. there are children dying of..cancer, for example...and yet they will be denied treatment because the parents can't afford it.. that is so wrong..people marrying for money, no love..just the wish the other would hurry up and die so they can claim it all, people stealing because they don't have enough of it, people becoming homeless because they cant afford the rent..makes me sick. i would gladly live without it if i could ...but it is made nigh on impossible to..it rules people and causes nothing but trouble and stress or a falsified sense of happiness for a short time..hate it. good poem, excellent topic that all will have an opinion on. well done, full marks
