the day i felt like i was one with God

It’s a girl, it’s a girl…..the world stopped for a minute, and there you were.



as i watched an angel wings unfold,



beautiful a blessing to behold,


as i danced with the heart of my soul,



there was not a sound,only rays of at last i found,



some one who loves me,some one who needs me,



some one who accepts depends on me,,



some one i will protect with my dieing breath.



some one who's innocent,



i never forget how time stopped for a minute,



it was when my life you enter,,



never thought a blessing could be,



till in my realm you stepped in,



our eyes met thats when i knew,



that forever love will be us two,



you stared and then smiled,



what could i do,



i fell hoplessly in love with u,.

Beautiful words of love to a little girl! I love "watched an angel's wings unfold" and "as I danced with the heart of my soul". Much emotion there, without being sappy. Line 2, "angel's wings unfold", line 8, "dying breath", line 11, "entered" and last line, "hopelessly". Barbara

Aww, that was sweet. I can't wait til I have my first kid... but that won't happen for awhile. :P Anyways, this was a nice little piece. It was a lovely pleasure to have read this because it's so true. My dad and I have that same relationship, and I cherish it dearly... he just doesn't know that. A father's love is an awesome thing. You are a lucky man. Having a child is truly a gift from God, and I imagine having one would cause you to better understand him, thus bringing you even closer to him. I did notice one typo though: "i will pertect"
