Your arms encirled me

And held me close

I always knew you'd protect me

But when the road grew long

You turned the other way

And I no longer wanted you back

So don't you smile at me

Or try and say my name

Because I'm finally free of you

At times I think of how it was

And wonder where it all changed

You never used to be like this
