September Smoke

September Smoke

A Poem by Erica Marie

We collapsed into the silence of our high
Speaking only through our eyes,
Relaxing against each others presence.
We hesitated to say anything now,
Repressing any words that started to form on our tongues
That might bruise the air we used to speak
My body; veins still pulsing,
Traveling the magic throughout me--
Shivered involuntarily against his beating heart.
We were possessed by each other,
Under no circumstances did we want to break away.
I was his, and he was mine,
And that was all we needed.

You know what? Me too do the same thing .. when I write a book or work on my screenplays writes, I just give `em a give as the poems like i`m now a days working a play and few stories so, my pouring `em into the sheet of poems .. i`m very glad to hear this that you too do the same. Lovely.

---------------------------------------
I was his, and he was mine,
And that was all we needed...

~~~Beautiful lines~~~
And yeah, in love what all we need is "Two hearts and One soul" ... when the night comes covering the sky with its coldness along the side of darkness, the lovers get mingled with the taste of love and their souls get one not for a night but for a whole life (if they are the true-lovers) ... What the most lovable thing I love about you is .. the strength and the expression! yeah, the strength of your pieces`s pretty and the truth, the real feelings of your pieces pulling me hard to your pages reading your few more stuffs so, i`m reading!
I`d look forward reading your beautiful stuffs, Sweety!
Thank you very much :)
Again, between bruised air you don't want to waste ... .I feel like maybe I might want to be a guy or a man or a person who this poem is aimed at ha
Just in the sense that it's really friggin' good
This is eloquently put. Very erotic and still genuine. I liked the line "we were possessed by each other". Excellent write:)
I love 'under no circumstances did we want to break away' - an almost humorous formality!
