I write because I must. It's almost like breathing only more important. I write about urban education, personal nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. I am fascinated by spoken word and half introduced many young writers to the genre. I have a book slated for publishing later this year. It speaks about my philosophy on bridging the educational gap. I strive to not only continue my writing but also to play a role in educational reform.
