About Me
I'd have to say that I am quiet and a little eccentric. It's an odd combination, but I'm worth the abnormality. I'm a high school student, and I am in love with Romantic Era literature and the tragedy and dark imagery entangled in its plots and characters.
I aspire to become a writer, and I will be attending The University of Arizona for pharmacy next year once I graduate and Yale for a masters in American Literature.
I'd have to say that Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and F. Scott Fitzgerald are some of my inspirations. I feel that they- and others that I cannot remember- have influenced my writing because of their wording, use of third-person limited and first-person views, and massive details involing imagery.
I have a fashion obsession with the 1910s and 1920s. I love the style and the simplicity that is portrayed in black and white films. I love imagery, romantic tragedy, and the use of big and/or foreign languages in my writing. I normally express what I have seen in my life, from Jesus to gin and alternative lifestyles to abandonment. It's controversal at times, but it adds a compelling and truthful addiction to my work.
I write fiction, though it may not seem like it. I get my inspiration from anything I see. I might see a women crying one day, and I'll elaborate why she was crying and make a story. Lol It's weird, I know.
