All out of words

My native language is French, but I've always felt more comfortable writing in English, maybe because it's dissociated from my mundane life - French is for grocery shopping, paperwork, "pass the salt". English is for books, interior monologues, love notes, and every brand of escapism.
That said, the exception to the rule is French poetry. I will read English language verse when English speaking poets convert to the Alexandrine. Suffice it to say I'm not holding my breath.

As a side note, I am a generally happy person. I just think that needs to be said.
