About Me

In 2015 I became a widow,, trying to survive.. I sold the house in Seattle, and bought 5 acres near the Canadian border. We call it Rowan Hill Sanctuary. I am a trained artist. My art work has been my main expression for many years, but writing is also a passion. I tend to think of of writing as word painting.

My husband passed last October, 2015. My life has been eaten by trying to fix the house/home of 40 years, in order to sell. The sign went up last night... now, perhaps I can write again.

I need to get back to writing... life has been interesting... husband was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013, as well as another deare one. Time is often filled with doc appointments and chemo sessions. My mother, who is 87, also requires my assistance. Life...

A lot of life has flowed under the bridge - there has been a flurry of not only taking my husband to doc appointments and chemo, but of also taking another to doc appointments and chemo. My friend is in remission - my husband is not.

Sweet Ani I am sorry to hear about your job. Perhaps it gives you more time to spend with the loves of your life. Your husband; children; and your writing.
I am certain these must sound like empty words echoing in the husk of a hallow tree right now. Go out and be with nature as mother earth readies for her winter slumber. It is after all a natural time of study; reflection. Go walk in the splendour of the autumnal pacific northwest. It must be magnificent to the senses.

Oh how grim it is to be called to a meeting only to be met with the prickling energy of something wrong. Ahhh yes, Sept 2 was such a case for me. Five people entered that chamber of darkness, with only a inkling that it was not normal for the corporate lawyer and the human resouces person to be there. Twenty people were sacked, and I among them. Ah, c'est la vie! Where do I go from here at this sweet age of 60?

Thank you for your review of "O Projetista" (portuguese for The Projectionist). I really wanted to write a short tale about teleportation, was thinking of a friend from Trinidad then discussing the nature of God with a Jamaican and thus we ended up here. lol. Im glad you liked it.
