About Me

A young boy with a dream, raised to believe a dream was possible to reach, races to achieve these dreams he had seen as a boy.

Daniel Sebuyange, alias Blue Saint, a Congolese-born British rapper, songwriter, creative writer, actor, spoken word artist and graphic designer. A child who had always had a great fascination for the creative arts, Blue Saint began to aspire to become an inventor before discovering rap; a musical form he instantly developed a love for. Enamoured of storytelling he began to view rap as a medium conducive to telling a story, and by the ages seven and eight, was already writing lyrics.

He has since then performed alongside UK number one artists such as Sway, Skinnyman, Bashy, Lowkey, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Akala and Plan B as well as international artists like the American rapper Caktuz.

He was part of Writing on the Wall’s ‘Liverpool Young Writer’s’ from age twelve. By the age of fourteen Blue Saint had won the Poetry Society’s Slambassadors Award, by the age of fifteen he was entered in the MOBO awards, as a nominee, due to the improvements his music had made for the community. Along these years Blue Saint has featured himself in various newspapers from the local (Liverpool Echo) to the national (The Independent).

On 12 July 2014 Blue Saint performed to over 1,000 people as part of Brouhaha's H.A.I.R. (Heritage, Attitude, Identity, Respect), a carnival that celebrated cultural diversity as well as the interesting history of black hair styles.
