About Me
Hey folks, I am Matt, journalist by day and aspiring nonfiction humorist by night. I have lived in Connecticut all my life, with the exception of the seven months I spent not working very hard in San Diego. I have a degree in English and Journalism from UConn, with a minor in creative writing, and was known to basically skip every class that did not involve writing. I am the rare combination of sweet band geek and oh so innocent frat boy, and I am fairly certain that "Avenue Q" was written partially with me in mind. I am the author of one full length play, "Romancing the Bambino," and am currently working on my first book exploring my own adventure with the Quarter-Life Crisis. Aside from that, I am a film buff and trivia nut who loves to read, especially books by the likes of Nick Hornby, Bill Bryson, Bill Simmons, Tony Kornheiser, Dave Barry, Michael Chabon, and JRR Tolkien.
