WRITER of Television and Film. After being awarded the Peoria Promise College Scholarship, I enrolled at Illinois Central College and obtained an Associates Degree in Journalism. After taking creative writing and screenwriting classes, little did I know that these classes would have a major impact on my life. Already a lover of books and a poetry writer since the age of ten, the classes fueled my love for storytelling.
