I’m glad you enjoyed the MacNeice poem. I believe that is my favorite of his I’ve read so far. I have not read enough. He’s a newer discovery for me. I do enjoy the way he plays with unexpected descriptions and plays on your expectations and then switches to the unexpected. London Rain is excellent, yes.
