About Me

I'm a 20 year old University student, currently studying English Literature at the university of Essex. I'm in the midst of writing a novel and enjoy writing poetry and other short stories on the side. I'm just an average guy really, I like drinking, socialising, sports, computers and of course writing and reading. Been writing since I was a child, and never stopped. I love sci-fi and fantasy books, but will read anything. I'm also a big fan of metal music (but again, open to all types of music) and the muchy maligned 'sport' of wrasslin.

It's set in a fictional universe. At the most basic level it's about the struggles that a Prince of an ancient dynasty has within himself and with his family. They realize the true enemy is of a spiritual nature, but not in time to stop this power from killing the king and the rest of his family, and destroying the entire nation and turning his best friend against him. At the end he finds out it's his destiny to confront and defeat the evil, which I'm going to strive to write in as original a way as possible, hehe. I realize that this is kind of a cliche theme, the whole destiny thing, but hopefully the way that it happens won't have been done before.
