David Emrys, known as D to his friends, is a serving soldier and author.

Growing up with the heroic tales written by authors such as David Gemmell and James Barclay, D was inspired to write stories of his own. D turned the stories into books after the passing of his father, forging a legacy in memory and name.
D lives with his fiancée in Chelmsford. She inspires his work and supports his dreams, but most importantly provides the coffee at the most crucial of times.
