I started writing two years ago after a long hiatus due to that disorder called life. Once I picked up the pen I began to remember my passion and natural affinity for words. I am a drop out, a man born in the ghetto with a violent and troubled history due to circumstances borne of poverty and the "barrio" in which I was raised. This is only the second forum in which I am releasing my work, I am ooen to critique as I am on a journey to become a true poet, perhaps other types of writing may be in my future, but for now I progress in what I truly believe to be an art.
