Jean Jefferies

I am new to writing. It may be fair to say I have not written a book, but a 75,000 word outline for a entertaining one:) Now just give me an interested writing vet or five years to learn and mold it to the status of "good enough".
I like reading Michael Crichton, Stephen King, and Sidney Sheldon. MC preaches a bit much, SK is the fluff master, and SS always has a chick as the Smart one. So I will hope to avoid these things :) I must admit I respect, but am not a fan of poetry :( sorry, I know I just alienated ike 90% of writers, :o.
