I study art, work in an art gallery, live near the sea and love it.

Have been told since childhood that i have a natural aptitude for writing and now my kids are in their late teens i'm starting to think about what i want to be when i grow up - a writer, an artist, or perhaps both!

From the first time I heard a Chales Bukowski poem - even if not a fan of womanising and alcoholism - i loved the grit, the humour, and blatant honesty. Read The Scroll - Jack Keroac - again i'm not a man, not a beat poet, but the continuous unedited stream of consciousness - love it!

have a propensity for prosetic exchanges when everyone else is speaking in plain english... so perhaps i ought to be in a forum like this where i don't feel out of place.
