I'm a senior in high school and I came out of the womb with a pen in one hand and a notebook in the other. I have a complex relationship with poetry and fiction -- fiction being my native format, but poetry being a freer, unfettered outlet for my creative endeavors. I love literature. Steinbeck and Plath are the authors that influence my writing the most. You'll probably see more poetry out of me than fiction, mainly because I generally have mixed feelings about my fiction once a week or two goes by, while my poetry tends to stand the test of time. Been published a few times.
