I was born in a small city. Back then, everything about writing didn't appeal to me. I HATED it. Then I moved.
It was tough going from the loud, entertaining city to the quieter, distant suburbs. I hated it at first. I hated how I couldn't hear cars outside my window and how I knew no one. It wasn't until I started school that it all changed.
I met a girl that year, she was the opposite of me. She was loud, and outgoing to my quiet and shy. She was fun and hilarious, to my suttle attitude. Everyone loved her, though she always insisted that wasn't true. We were completely diferent, not suited in the least to be friends, and we weren't. We were BEST freinds.
It was her that showed me how brilliant writing could be. How we could let our imaginations run wild, and it would be okay. She showed me how we could let our feelings and emotions out. Because of her, I began to write. From the fertilizer of an unlikely freindship, bloomed a wonderful flower of our writing.
