Thank you Mic for your kind wishes of understanding! My precious Skippy looked like an angel when I found him. He was smiling, had his little back paws crossed, and was very much at peace! His death was unexpected, so he did not suffer very much. We left him at 2:45 am and I found him, most likely just passed at 7:00 am. He is being cremated now. I will have some more pics of him in a couple of days. Oh my, how difficult this is!!!! I feel as if I have been cut in half!
