I've been a writer since I hit the age where I was old enough to do so. Avid reader, writer, compulsive over thinker (always!)...that's me. Writing has always been my outlet, a way to express everything that is in my head...pain, joy, frustration, sorrow, triumph. All of it. I use writing to find my way through my mind and through the world.

I mostly write poetry or just "musings" although I am hoping to use this site as a way to build up some skills in the short story department as well.

Life has taken me in some interesting directions in the past few years and I had walked away from a lot of the creative aspects of my personality. I mostly stopped writing, and now I have given myself back to myself and am determined to never lose sight of this again.

I found this website when trolling around for places to talk with other writers, share work, toss around ideas, and generally surround myself with likeminded people
