My project is a collaborative site in providing a roleplaying space for creative writers who want to have an iterative environment to improve their prose writing.

For those familiar with and engaged in play by email role playing games, this may sound like an over fluffed advertisement, however I urge folks to consider the potential for such a site.

This political medieval fantasy drama setting - much like of Game of Thrones - focuses on character (primarily) and plot development.

I don't just want a 'game', I want to see us (yup, you and me) as a group improving the quality of our writing, with posts focused on 500 to 1,000 word short bursts of interesting fiction that both encourages folks to interact with your/our characters, and makes for some digestible reads throughout the week.

I don't expect nor want a flurry of activity throughout the week. Instead, this should be about exploring and learning together at a manageable pace, for those of us who have day jobs that take up our creative time, it should be about writing 1-2 quality RP posts a week, with the rest of the week in discussion and writing background 'factual' pieces to fill in the world.

Collaborative writing at its most raw, PBEM RPGs provide one with the best opportunities to meet other folks and be exposed to all types of writing styles (albeit with a gamemaster who screens applicants to ensure a certain entry level for quality and general player satisfaction), thus giving you an eclectic prose palette to work with.
