About Me

A tender 23 years of age, with the mind of an old fashioned fart....
An ordinary girl with outlandish views as well as a down to earth attitude...
Shamingly enough, I am not new to this, as I had been writing since about age 13. The shameful part comes in when I have to confess that I lost the same journal I had been keeping for about 8 years. Lost with the journal was my motivation to write.
So take this as a reincarnation of sorts....a rebirth of a Hindu poetess and her writings...
Pieces of junk that speak volumes...while simultaneously maintaining silence...

Im looking forward to reading your work. I wrote pages and pages, and gave two out of eight books of nearly 100 poems in each to a mate to type up... he claims he stil has them but so far has not returned them.

Still, a writer must soldier on. A break is good for the mind (unless its the mind that breaks!!!)!!!

Heheh... Thanks. I tried. Actually, I'm an 80's baby. I wouldn't have minded being a 70's baby. No, the floor was white and lime-green with flowery squares, and the shaggy carpet was a really ugly brown and rick red mixture. I don't remember much except maybe the goats and the chickens. Now I feel like I've betrayed my old homestead origins because I live in a fairly nice house, and we no longer... erm... have goats. People say I was too young to remember what I did, but I don't believe them because that's the only thing I have to remember, and although they say I was young they admit that our kitchen floor was green and checkerboard. So... :P

Hey, thanks and you're welcome for the welcome here.. i understand what you are saying.. i was listening to music and the poem came, janes says and suzanne .. so the poem came.. i think i get stuck in a word or theme rut sometimes.. i do agree i should push myself. We all should.

Thanks for reviewing my poem...I had a good laugh...actually you're spot on, it IS s**t, just words on a page one after the other. Try reading some of my other stuff, i promise those aren't just words on a page =]
