J.d. Mckane

I am 23 years old, and a graduate of the University of West Florida in Pensacola with a major in Maritime Studies and a double minor in Environmental Studies and International Relations. I play video games a lot, as well as watch anime. [adult swim] on Cartoon Network is my favorite time slot on TV. I listen to hard rock and pretty much nothing else. I have little tolerance for injustice and arrogance. I use Linux because "software is like sex, it's better when it's free." I consider myself a goth-like geek even though I don't dress like either. My religious beliefs encompass aspects of Christianity, Buddhism, and Taoism. I consider myself to be one of the last decent men left on earth, which is why I prefer to not only date girls, but hang out with them as friends as well.

I am working on the closer to a fantasy/adventure trilogy. I have over 2 dozen other ideas for novels that I intend to write before I die. I also have written many many poems ranging from romance to darkness. I have uploaded all the poems I have ever written so check them out. I will not be posting my novels online because I do not have them officially copyrighted as of yet. I have been trying to turn my first novel into a podcast, but the recording software I'm using isn't cooperating.

I'm posting my poetry to this site simply because I want people to read it. I don't really care about ratings, praise, or criticism. I believe poetry to be a way of expressing oneself, and should not be changed to fit the social norm.
