Miss Torii-Lee

--Hello, I go by Torii-Lee ☆ Gorgeous ♥, you may call me Torii, but I have many nicknames and am always open to more. My first name is Victoria, which became Tori, my usual nickname among IRL friends. My middle name is Lee and the extra "i" is for fun, but I decided to keep the "Gorgeous" (and the star and heart symbols) when, after using it as my MSN handle, some people began to refer to me as just that.

--People call me crazy before they know me. If they do get to know me enough, they apologize when I tell them it's true. I've struggled with mental illness since (at least) age 11, and I truly have no shame in it. I am currently diagnosed with Bi-Polar II and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and am recovering from Anorexia Nervousa. Though it has been a hard road, I am becoming a better person because of the insights I've gained, in myself and in life as a whole.
--Anyways, I'm very much into various forms of creative expression. I have been writing, drawing, and singing for most of my life. There are many forms of art, including many undiscovered ones, and I hope that everyone can find at least one way to express themselves. As for me? I want to find as many ways as I can.
I'm a Wiccan-seeker and a free-thinker. I have many beliefs, and I will defend them as I see necessary. I love to have intelligent conversations, however, with those who either disagree or are unfamiliar with those beliefs, as long as things are kept civil. I highly value intelligence and education, which is actually my reason for dropping-out of high school (my school was "teaching" well below grade level and I was very bored there). I got me GED in April 2007, but have not yet been able to begin college. This is mostly due to a combination of financial problems and not being able to cope well with emotional stress.
--Other Factoids: my sign is Taurus, my year is Snake, I'm addicted to Mountain Dew (actually, it's the caffeine in it)... Also, I love animals of all kinds. I have two cats in my home now, Dust-Bunny and Shankara, and I love them both lots!
