New Yorkshire

I am a dual USA/UK citizen from New York State, living in Yorkshire (Hence, New Yorkshire). English teacher by trade.

I often write short stories, but have rarely shared them with others. Signing up to writers cafe is a huge step outside my comfort zone.
I have recently started to write a novel and am considering doing more with it than merely writing. It is in the very early stages at the moment.

I love reading fantasy, but tend to write dystopian. I'm more drawn to prose over poetry, but will happily read and comment on anything.
