I write lyrics and poetry. I used to write fanfiction until I grew up a bit. I wrote my first lyrics at eight years old and it went like this: "I want to be a rock star/Plucking on those strings/yeah yeah yeah/ doing all those things/ yeah yeah yeah/ knowing all those words/ yeah yeah yeah/ and calling all those birds/ yeah yeah yeah yeah."
I fell in love at the age of 12. Or whatever love is at that time. Heartbroken, I wrote more. And more. And more. Until I couldn't write anymore. I wish I still had those journals.. At 13, at 14, at 15, 16, 17, 18.... I continued to write lyrics and poetry as I gained an apt for music and love for the written word. I met my boyfriend and musical partner, Chris, in choir during the first semester of college. We fell in love.. for real this time. I found the depression I used to write subside and I was almost left with nothing. No spark of creativity. But I know it's in me. And here I am to prove it.
