I started writing when they taught me the alphabet; I kept writing as I grew older. My best writing was from the street days. That was before I was discovered on the blogosphere and put on the conference circuit. Now I spend most of my time with writers in their workshops, readings and support groups. But I can never learn to stand them... too bad that they have successfully made me feel like one of them.
