About Me

My name is Kay.
I am not a writer. I merely assist my pen (or as the case may be, my keyboard) in creating sentences that may or may not mesh together to bring forth new life (which may or may not be legible and I find when describing myself I may or may not use examples too often).
I am Canadian. I am a mother. I am also more of a photographer then a poet or novelist, but sometimes it helps to write down how I am feeling. After all, I am a woman, and being such I have an infernal need to express myself to anybody who will listen.
I live on the prairies, I suffer through winters, and often find myself with a 'Vacancy' sign perched precariously on the lawn of my eyes, for I would much rather day dream then day DO.
If I ever upload anything here (I may or may not be shy, you see) feel free to tear it apart and give me advice - I may or may not take it.

Attitude

by Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

It is more important than education, money, circumstances, failures, successes, or whatever anyone might say or do.

It is more important than appearances, giftedness, or skill.

The remarkable thing is that we have the choice to create the attitude we have for that day.

We cannot change our past. We cannot change the way people act. We cannot change the inevitable.

The one thing we can change is the only thing we have control over, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what actually happens to us and 90% how we react to it.
