About Me

I believe there is fact in the fiction.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Albert Einstein

Thanks so much for the review. I'm glad you liked my poem :) And I, too, wish that the English language wasn't so limiting on what you could say. I lost count of how many times I went over the poem, switching out one word after another and trying to make it more expressive. Thanks again :)

P.S. I just read the first two chapters of your book again and resisted the urge to bug you about the next few...:D

Laughing Song by William Blake

When the green woods laugh with the voice of joy,
And the dimpling stream runs laughing by;
When the air does laugh with our merry wit,
And the green hill laughs with the noise of it;

when the meadows laugh with lively green,
And the grasshopper laughs in the merry scene,
When Mary and Susan and Emily
With their sweet round mouths sing Ha, ha he!

When the painted birds laugh in the shade,
Where our table with cherries and nuts is spread:
Come live, and be merry, and join with me,
To sing the sweet chorus of Ha, ha, he!

You and me both... as a matter of fact, I merely want to start with her hair and work my way down. She needs a whole person makeover.

I haven't heard of that one...
I'm currently listening to Amy Winehouse, as the status now reflects.
When I put that up there, I was semi-horrified at how the lyrics do actually describe me. LOL.
I'm off to check out Ghosts on the Radio!
