Jack

I'm 23, college grad from Jersey. Very heavily into cinema of most shapes and sizes and genres (even bad ones, long as they're entertaining). I love writing and reading, making films, and eating a good cone of ice cream. As far as any kind of aspirations, I hope to have some kind of career in writing or filmmaking, the former with screenwriting or novels or poetry (though I know the latter is toughest) or even film criticism if I have to, and the latter as a director. In my writing I draw on a lot of autobiographical things, though not always of the super-duper personal- sometimes a relationship poem or other might pop up- but rather things I see, notes on art, city life, subway riding, movies and pop culture, observations out and about walking around town or a city, dreams.

And in writing fiction I also go into the world of what I know (friends, movies, random experiences, New York City), drama, comedy, horror stories, and even into more 'pulp' writing (I've tried to write a tale of outlaw bikers off and on for a few years, still tinkering with it). I'm up for trying to write anything, be they songs lyrics, philosophy, et all. I look forward to reading all the site's got to offer, and hopefully you might dig what I have to offer.
