About Me

I am a university student who is studying something else than writing, but would like to go on with what I love doing; creating a different world through words.
I really like writing, but I have some grammatical problems, since I am not a Native English speaker. I would also love to make friends to share ideas.

Name: Joan.S.
Age: Over age
Like: Reading, Writing, Music (both listening and playing), Drawing, Sleeping, Eating.....
Dislike: Trolls.., closed minded, Rich brats.. (sorry.. I just don't like people who don't understand the importance of anything), Shallow people... etc.

But funny thing is I love doing makeup and artistic stuff...

I am half Asian, and half Latin America (Spanish descent ).
I speak Spanish, Japanese, English and a little bit of French (I can read more French than speak).

Like I said before I like drawing and all the artistic stuff. Right now I want to try and get a camera (analog.. non-digital one) to start with photography.
If you are interested, please check out the link on the website. Its my DevianART. I love to imagine and create something. Its just how I pass my days.

I love stories with forbidden love. Yes, I do love vampires stories. But I simply love stories with mythical creatures. They are spices to writing (at least I think they are hot).
I have to admit, I read twilight, but I have loved vampire stories way before it came out.
The only thing I don't like in the writing is when the heroine is the star, or described as a hot model and stuff like that. If you know what I'm trying to say ....!

So far I'm writing a book, or a series, but don't know if I would be able to upload it here...hope I can.

....And thats it about me! :)

If I Had My Life To Live Over

I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner
even if the carpet was stained
and the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn
in the 'good' living room
and worried much less about the dirt
when someone wanted to light a fire
in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen
to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would never have insisted the car windows
be rolled up on a summer day
because my hair
had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have burned the rose sculpted
pink candle before it melted in storage.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children
and not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less
while watching television
and more while watching life.

I would have shared more of the
responsibility carried by my husband.

I would have gone to bed when I was sick
instead of pretending the earth
would go into a holding pattern
if I weren't there for the day.

I would have never bought anything
just because it was practical,
wouldn't show soil or
was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away
nine months of pregnancy,
I'd have cherished every moment
and realized that the wonderment
growing inside me was the only chance
in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously,
I would never have said,
"Later, Now go get washed up for dinner."

There would have been more "I love yous,"
more "I'm sorrys,"
but mostly, given another shot at life,
I would seize every minute,
look at it and really see it, live it,
and never give it back.
