Jenni

My name is Jenni, and I am from Staten Island, New York: where the ignorance runs high and the fun runs low. I truly despise being trapped in this city for the next eight or so months, but thanks to bad college advice and a sudden wave of students going to college, I have been force to spend my first year of my College career at the College of Staten Island. However, I am looking into transfering to Rutgers University in New Jersey. Not a big step away from this city I have grown to despise, but any place is better than here I suppose. Though, you know what they say- you spend half your life trying to escape from this place, only to spend the other half trying to get back. However, I do want to live in Manhattan. It's a beautiful place filled with buildings that reach the sky, and people from all different walks of life. It's such a cultural masterpiece that city- and it humbles you.

My writing career started when I was 13 I guess and I started writing Zelda fanfiction. Of course, all my early stories were pretty much bad and I dare any of you to go look for them and see for yourself. However, as time went on and as I started paying attention to my english classes, I got better. In my senior year I won the awards for "Excellence in Writing" because of my participation on the Newspaper and two stories I had submitted to the Literary magazine at my school. It was the most amazing experience of my life and made me want to persue writing as a professional. My stories are my babies and every time I have to finish one it's like sending a child off to college- it's horrible and heartwretching.
