I'm 23 and I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote little picture books for my mom when I was a little girl and discovered poetry when I was about ten or eleven. Most of my work is poetry, but here lately I've had a desire to write something else, something more....so I'm working on my first book. It's kinda crazy and most of the time it falls into the category of a love/hate relationship, but ultimately I feel that I am going in the right direction.

I joined this group because I live in a place where young writers are scarce and because I needed a place to connect with other writers where I didn't feel exposed.

I look forward to the friends I will make here and I can't wait to read your work and for you to read mine!
