About Me

I'm 21, and I am a senior English Major at FSC. I don't usually write poetry - my passion is prose, specifcially things like fantasy, adventure, romance and mystery. However, I like to try out all different genres at some point in time.
The time periods that interest me most are Victorian and Regency, that I hope to learn enough about to write properly in them.

As well as short stories, I like to write fanfics. I'm a big anime and video games fan, but I'm sure you'll be able to tell my favorites by what I write. ^^

I've just come back from a study abroad trip to England, Scotland and France and I feel revived! Additionally, I have felt humbled and honored to follow in the path of many great writers. This experience has made me want to study the writers even more and I have also learned a lot about myself.

The truth within your consciousness is like the horizon that recedes before you. As you journey towards your inner quest in the direction of the leading edge of your belief acceptance. And your knowledge and understanding of the prevailing path grows, the next ascending possibility will always beckon you forth. For wisdom brings together within the truth of your existence, your souls essence, in which is attained by your own experience. Pursue your goal of achieving the truth within your reality of consciousness, in the most direct manner. The paradox is of course, is that you are both the voyager and the pathway; the treasure that you seek is most often slumbering within you or undeveloped in your quest. It�s always within you, has always been, and always will be. It has not been hidden from your sight, for the most part, it�s likely you have hidden from it, so wake it up, face it, and accept it, than use it, by becoming it.

Hey, I haven't talked to you in quite a bit. I see you're not on the site as much now but! in case you do come back and check this, I was wondering if you still happen to have that story, I think it was called "Ice Prison." I've always been like, inspired by your stories, and I was reading through them last night and remembered it. So if you happen to have it still, it would be absolutely lovely if you could post it again :)

Hope your still writing. Your more than respectable with it!

Its like this. Your appendix is a time-bomb, waiting to explode. It sits there in your intestinal area, dying to go kamikazi on you. So when it hits you, its like the initial blast of a grenade. You feel the shrapnel from the blast. Now that the appendix has exploded, its 'flare' will take you down like a terrible toxin. If let alone, you'll be dead, as very few people actually survive appendicitis (and when they do, they live short because of all the poisons). The after effects were not any cleaner. Try "EXTREME ANOREXIA".
.I think I covered it the best I could. if you noticed a little humor in that piece, it was no mistake. The only exaggerated part... of course.. is a few words. like 99.9% true.

Sorry I've taken so long to get back in touch, but things have been really busy over the holidays. I've managed to get a couple of stories published in anthologies, which should be out soon. Maybe it's the start of something?

If you want me to do a full balls-out critique of anything let me know - obviously I don't know everything and would never claim to know even half of it but I do sometimes spot bits that might sound better, written differently. People have often point out lots of bits in my writing that need improvement or that I've missed (happens all the time, lol) and so I always think that it's good to get other perspectives. Glad you felt I could help - cheers and keep up the good work. HoWiE ;-)
