Shannon Alane

My name is Shannon, and...I'm a poet. I'm really only writing to release emotions that I've been holding inside for too long. For so long I've been a sensitive person. I wore my heart on my sleeve and let anyone walk over me. I just recently started writing poetry, and I'd like other poets to critique my work. I want to give this world something to remember me by. I guess that's all I have to say about my poetry. On to me. I'm thirteen years old. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which I hate with a passion. I sing and act, music is my life, along with writing. I love anime. I know. Geek with a capital G! My friends say I give the best advice in the world, which is far from true. I'm the girl everyone comes to just to talk, or when they have a secret. I never spill secrets. I'm not as fragile as I look, so don't think you can pressure it out of me. It won't work. That's about it, I guess....
