About Me

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I am Twenty Three years old. I've found out that writing isn't just my passion but my calling, I love reading, and writing, and I am currently writing a novel that will be published.

Martial arts isn't terribly hard to learn on your own - the only things you REALLY need a teacher for would be the more complex tricks, and probably for helping you learn certain katas/patterns, but even those you can look at online. It's easier to see someone do it though beside you, because you get all the directions right and they can point out what you're doing wrong :) I started by myself, when I joined the club I was better than most of the belts right up to blue/brown. =]

Ah nyes, the martial arts! My mother was a Judo champ, so I went into Tae Kwon Do. Loved it, still do love it... don't get to do it too often. I really should just go out onto the lawn and do it or something, as well as my gymnastics! Tis much better to use the time anime is loading to be ACTIVE!! Keep ya body fit, or your brain at least =P I'm getting so unfit... I really should go down to the pool right now. DX

LOL!! When I was 5 I used to watch Sailor Moon & Captain Planet... that was about it. Beyond that I watched the Court programs and the news with my dad o_O
XPXPXP oh and the races sometimes... swim races, bike races & horse races.
But I started watching proper anime when I was like... 11-13ish? I prefer not being addicted to it in all honesty! Most of it's actually a waste of time >_> could be putting it into something far more creative or worthy!

LOL!! I was thinking about anime's effect on kids actually. I remember enjoying it a lot a few years ago, but it also detached me quite a bit from reality... I don't think I'd really encourage young people to watch anime or things like that!! Adults after they've "matured" would probably be a better bet. In some ways, perhaps it feeds your imagination too? I'm not sure XP

LOL I used to be very mathematical, then I got sick and just read for years... Maths went out the window, writing came in! If I look back at the writing I used to do, I know I'm far better than I was!! It's amazing how we get better and better, huh? Learning's a big thing!

Ah, know how you feel a bit LOL!! I just tend to have a solid idea, go into it, detail it... I have like 3 folders of separate sagas. The one here is the one I want to finish first =]

Precisely!! Besides, a book/story takes a lot more time and dedication than a poem. X]

Neither... I tried! & failed abysmally. Oh well, stories are our thing now =D Personally, I like books more than poetry >_>
More substance...
Poetry is great for songs though!
