I have been writing poetry since I was in high school, mostly just as a hobby because I love to write. At the urging of family and friends, I have recently looked into publishing, and hope to one day realize that dream. Before doing that, I decided to try sharing it on a larger scale here. Most of my poetry is written from life experience, either mine, or someone that I know. Some is written purely for fun, others were written in dedication to those I love. All of it is straight from the heart. I have no style to speak of, I simply write what I feel, and hope that somewhere among these, you find one you like.

Thanks for telling me about the cafeTina, I think I've found a place where I can sit among friends and fellow artists, sip from the cup of comraderie and sample the sweet verses of serious artists.
