Annette Spenner

My love of books started at an early age. My Grandfather had a nice library of classics. He would sit me on his lap at the age of three and read to me. As I grew, he would give me a penny for every word that I could read out loud. I used to write short stories when I was young and read them to my sister. She was my biggest fan. Life went on and I raised four children and worked as a florist to make ends meet. I am now retired and at home with my two dogs, some ducks, and chickens. I grow my own vegetables and I love being at home. Now is the time. I write my book and dedicate it to my Grandchildren. My book will teach children to appreciate nature and protect it from the terrible trolls that destroy it. I hope to instill my love of nature in my young readers.
