I love to write. People have encouraged me to share my inspirational poems. My friend Dianne encouraged me to join this community years ago. I haven't been active recently. I enjoy sharing with members of this community.

I've been writing a self-help book for many years, based on my own life experiences. I finally finished it December 1, 2014! I've added the first few chapters here. I created a blog where I posted the Intro, Foreword and 1st Chapter. http://bbest.com/wordpress

I began my professional career as a Junior High School Math Teacher. I took early retirement after 9 years and went to work at the phone company in San Francisco, California, as a computer programmer. I worked my way up to Systems Analyst, Manager and Strategic Planner, before I took another early retirement to start my own business.

I've traveled and taught seminars and workshops in the US, Canada, Russia, and Mexico. I've taught at the college level and at a local adult school.

I enjoy my work and love to meet new people.
