Sunrise

Married for nearly 30 years - my husband is the love of my life & center of my world - we have one son who is in heaven. I write poetry and articles for my bereaved parents support group newsletter. Journaling and writing about grief, loss and my son is very healing. In spite of the fact that we've had such a tragedy, we're still married and have rediscovered happiness and finding ways to reinvest in life for ourselves and in memory of our son. We enjoy camping. Along with writing, I love photography, reading, traveling and our dog and cat. I am also blessed with wonderful friends and I even love my job. Life is too short to waste it being miserable at work or bending over backwards & trying to please people who aren't thoughtful or caring.
Life's not measured by every breath we take, but by the moments that take our breath away....
