S.A. Grisom

Writing is by far my greatest passion. It allows me to create a world in which to escape where I am in control and I decide what happens. It gives me an outlet for emotions and ideas, and allows me to realize my greatest visions.

My writing is character-driven, imaginative, and unorthodox. I write across more genres than I care to name, though War, Crime, and Alternate Worlds are my favorite subjects. Every one of my stories contains emotion and each one has a great amount of depth.

As for me, I'm a college student currently juggling school and social life. I am a musician as well, though very amateur. I am not a fantastic guitar player, but I am writing my own songs to be recorded. You can visit my music profile at myspace.com/noctisatrox.

My favorite bands span mostly across the various, rediculous sub-genres of heavy metal. My primary influences towards my own music are Opeth, Akercocke, God Seed, and a host of other bands.

I also have a fledgling-but-growing interest in motorcycles. The freedom, expression, image, and sheer badass-ness of riding a Harley (or other American-made cruiser-style motorcycle) is heavily lureing to me. Some of my most creative writing concerns motorcycles and motorcycle clubs, as well.
