Currently in California but my carefree spirit just has me itching to travel every couple of years. I tend to be a bit of a pessimist but reading keeps me hopeful.
I enjoy writing about the supernatural because the subject intrigues me; anything that fascinates me becomes a bit of an obsession - which leads to another helpful FYI. I love researching and prepping up before I embark on a story. I love the process. It's like fueling up for a nice long roadtrip.

Music is my inspiration. I'm not as much into certain genres of music as much as the mood it sets for the moment at hand. So for example, if I have to work on something angsty/gotta-write-dark scenes: Cowboy Junkies, Massive Attack, V.A.S.T, Bjork, The Crow Soundtrack (both instrumental and various artist CDs), hooverphonic, muse, radiohead, and anything that has a bit of trip-hop feel like Tricky and DJ Shadow. NOTE: Midnight in a Perfect World is classic and Angels with Dirty Faces is brillant!
