Babel's Gate: Reader's Serial (Issue 3)  January 10, 2010 - January 29, 2010

This story was featured in issue two of Babel's Gate as the first part of a continuing reader's serial. The way the story develops will be entirely up to the readers, who may contribute anything from a few brief ideas to a full chapter. I am running this contest in order to open up submissions to the members of WritersCafe.

For the benefit of this contest, the best three entries will each receive an award. However, I hope to be able to include elements from all submissions in the final story.

Please note that submitting to the serial will be considered a reader submission and will therefore not be eligible for royalty payments. However, by entering the contest, members of WritersCafe will have the chance to promote their writing talents. This may lead to opportunities in the future to submit work that will be eligible for royalty payments.
