Calling all Angels  May 11, 2008 - May 31, 2008

In this contest, I am calling upon all the good souls of the world
to write a rhyming poem of at least 8 lines
regarding the genocide in Darfur.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE ENTERING!!!!

The prize is $100.00, BUT THERE IS A CATCH.

Because it is better to give than to receive,
you won't actually receive the $100.00 cash.
I will make a donation in the amount of $100.00
in YOUR name to YOUR choice of either of
the following organizations:

1. SaveDarfur.org
"Around the country and across the globe,
the Save Darfur Coalition is inspiring action,
raising awareness and speaking truth to
power on behalf of the people of Darfur.
Working with world leaders, we are demanding
an end to the genocide"; or

2. International Rescue Committee
"Our Mission - Founded in 1933, the IRC is
a global leader in emergency relief, rehabilitation,
protection of human rights, post-conflict
development, resettlement services and
advocacy for those uprooted or affected
by conflict and oppression."

I will provide the winner with proof that the
donation has been made in their name.

I apologize for the short deadline, but time is of the essence.
Members will vote on the winner.

Typically I would say that this is a winner take all contest,
however, this is a winner GIVE all contest.

And ... perhaps, a test of the compassion of humanity.
