5% of the population suffers from a severe mental illness.
Several Mental Illnesses are:
-Schizophrenia
-Paranoid and other psychotic disorders
-Bipolar disorders (hypomanic, manic, depressive, and mixed)
-Major depressive disorders (single episode or recurrent)
-Schizoaffective disorders (bipolar or depressive)
-Pervasive developmental disorders
-Obsessive-compulsive disorders
-Depression in childhood and adolescence
-Panic disorder
-Post traumatic stress disorders (acute, chronic, or with delayed onset)

85% of people suffer from some form of mental illness.

I want your take on the point of view of someone with a severe mental illness. It is harder than you think to put yourself in my shoes.
