Very Short Stories  September 1, 2016 - September 6, 2016

This is a contest for very short stories. I am defining very short as under 300 words so anything over this will not be read. It can be about anything; any grenre, theme however because it will be open to voting at the end nothing mature please.
It has to be a short story. It cannot be a poem which you've classified as a story (if it looks like a poem I won't read it). Also no prologues; a prologue is part of a novel and does not stand by itself as a short story. Don't enter a chunk of a story either, like the beginning or end section. I am looking for a short story under 300 words, not a chunk of a 1000 word story. Also please don't try and sneak words over the limit into your story, I read your story about 3 times so I will notice.
I'll pick the top 5 and it will be open to voting. As for prizes I'll send out read requests to my 150+ friends for the top 2.
