WBC: The Taylor Swift Contest  October 19, 2010 - November 3, 2010

Reading and Deliberating

Details

Feeling empty?
Let's try this.

TAYLOR SWIFT! Yeah, everyone loves her. And everyone knows at least one of her songs.

So here's the deal: Create a story or a poem, with a Taylor Swift song as its title. There are about seventy plus songs, and you can choose whatever you want.

As we all might have observed, all TS songs somehow tell a story, so what you have to do is create something that could use the same title but with a different storyline.

For example, if you use 'Love Story', you can't exactly use the 'Romeo and Juliet' theme. You can use an entirely different concept, but still connects with the title 'Love Story'.

Here are some of her songs:
Jump then Fall
Tied Together with a Smile
You Belong With Me
Mine
I'd Lie
Our Song
Today was a fairytale
The other side of the door
Crazier
Fifteen
Breathe
White Horse
Teardrops on my Guitar

THESE ARE JUST SUGGESTIONS.
IF YOU KNOW ANY OTHER SONGS, YOU CAN USE THEM.

(As much as possible, please don't use Love Story anymore)

The more different the story/poem is from the chosen song's lyrics, it's more likely to win.

No eroticas.
No books.
No chapters.
No plays.

YOU DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE TO WRITE THE PIECE IN A SONG FORMAT. THE ONLY 'TAYLOR SWIFT' THING IN IT WOULD BE IN THE TITLE.

WRITE ON!
