How to overcome writer's block.

When I had first written a story, it was crap. But I was proud of myself, it was my first story and I had written it in third grade, or at least, story I cared about. But about a fourth of a way through it, I had a problem, the main character was in a chasm and had a two day supply of food and there was a fresh water fall near by, so I asked my friends for help, but I was the only one of us who wanted to be a writer, so they were no use. If you have friends that also want to be professional writers, then go for it. But otherwise, if you ask me, Either go back to a point where you have many options, or just leave it when it no longer seems so unusual, I find a month or two is a good amount of time to get a new outlook on books or writing in general, so that's why, at the moment, I've put some of my writings like The Gun In The Dark on hold.

I was going through one of my writing endeavors too. I don't know what happened to me, I was so close to the end!

I think, the end that I had thought previously was not so propelling, and now when I read the story again, I find that the start needs to be more versatile.

But, the point is, after that incomplete story, I am unable to write anything substantial till date.

Quite a long time!
